10 WAYS TO JAZZ UP YOUR WEDDING AND RECEPTION

Remember when you were a teenager and you already had your wedding day planned in details? Starting from the lehenga to the mehendi design, you had it all ready. So now in case you have not thought about these,  here are 10 unique and fun ways in which you can jazz up your wedding day and reception, not only to make it the most memorable day of your life but also the best wedding your guests have ever been to.

  • An enchanted entrance

How do you want to make an entry at the venue on the best day of your life? Definitely in the most memorable way, right? In a way that your groom’s eyes don’t move away from you and neither the guests’. Then make an entry with a flower shower, let your bridesmaids and a couple of other friends or sisters shower petals on you while you walk towards the mandap Or if you want to make a royal entry then do it like a queen in a palanquin or palki carried by your brothers, cousins or male friends. Or if you want a “super cool” entry, then just wear a pair of sunglasses and dance your way into your wedding.

  • Let few very close people give a wedding speech

Remember Naina (Deepika Padukone) giving that wedding speech wearing the blue saree on Aditi’s (Kalki Koechlin’s) wedding in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? So give your best friend, sibling, cousins, friends, parents and few of your closets relatives two minutes each to say how they feel about you or share some embarrassing or sweet stories related to you on your wedding day to make it even more memorable and fun.

  • A Memorable Guest Book

Let every guest leave a small message for the newly married couple on their wedding day. You can make it special and a little different by saying keeping a small group of photographers with Polaroid cameras and every guest who wants to write a message can get a photo clicked and on the back of the photograph they can write a small note for you and put it in a box kept for this.

  • The First-Dance

Right after the wedding make the groom go down on his knee and ask the bride whether she wants to dance with him and then as a married couple, share your first dance together. Let everyone else come to the dance floor too after you and dance on a slow song like you are in a fairytale. You will never ever forget this dance.
